How to apply false eyelashes

  1. To begin with – you need tweezers to hold the eyelashes and apply the glue. Set everything out on a table ready for use. Wash your face with warm water and pat dry. Use a cotton ball to wipe any oil or water off your eyelashes.
  2. Hold the false eyelashes next to your eye so you can decide if the length is right before you place on the glue. If it is not right, trim the length with scissors.
  3. Try to get a match as close to your natural color as possible – most people will get away with black, but if you have blonde or ginger hair – go for lighter false lashes.
  4. Place the glue on the strip, and wait for it to go tacky. Then place neatly, as close as you can to your eyelash roots and hold in place for 10 to 20 seconds.
  5. Remove the tweezers and open the eye to check everything is correct.

Ok so I’m off to a party tomorrow but I have developed a sty, I am using anti-bacterial cream to try to get rid of it in time but I’m doubtful it will be gone as its huge ;-(. I do not go out to parties without my false lashes on so will it be ok for a one off? Or is it going to make my eyes look even worse if this is even possible??

Hello Emma, sorry to hear about your sty. I know you will not like this answer but it will make sure your eye heals in a shorter amount of time. Applying any sort of makeup or clue will only irritate further causing the eyelid to become blocked ands worse. This would result in slowing down the healing process considerably.

I would suggest not putting anything on or near the face such as makeup and cosmetic treatments for at least two days AFTER the sty appears to have disappeared.
