Eyelash Tint

Eye lash tint is a dye used to change the colour of the eyelashes. There are several different kinds. You can get permanent eyelash dyeing done at the salon. You can use an eyelash tint on a semi permanent basis, or you can purchase a product that will give you an eyelash tint only until you wash it off. There are different products as well, including vegetable eyelash dye.

In salons lash tinting can be done semi-permanent or permanent. If you know you want to get your lashes dyed professionally, it is best to check around and find a salon that uses all the latest methods. Ask friend and family for recommendations and always look to see the qualifications. In salons the colours are much stronger and darker. For a real result black can look glam and bold compared to browns and blondes so have a colour consultation.

Eyelash tinting at home:
You can also purchase a lash tint product that you apply and then wash off at the end of the day. Most of these products come in a mascara-like tube with a want. You apply it the same way but since it is not mascara, it does not set the lashes or clump. This is an ideal solution for weddings, parties and events.
Always read the instructions and insure the product is a well known brand.

Why have my eyelashes tinted?
Eyelash tints are great for people who do not have the time or patience to apply mascara every morning and remove it at night. A tint will look like you have dark lashes without having to re-apply makeup, or deal with clumps of mascara.
Some people have their eyelashes tinted darker if they are fair haired to create more of a dramatic look around their eyes bringing out the features more.
